Chevening is the UK government’s flagship international scholarship, aimed at professionals with leadership potential and a clear post-study plan. Nigerians form one of the largest Chevening cohorts each year.

Masters
You apply for three UK master’s courses alongside the scholarship, and funding covers tuition, a monthly living stipend, economy flights, and arrival/home allowances. After the award, scholars join a global alumni network of 55,000+ leaders.

- Nigerian citizen with an undergraduate degree (2:1 or equivalent)
- At least two years of work experience (2,800 hours)
- Apply to three eligible UK master’s courses and receive an unconditional offer from one
- Commit to returning to Nigeria for at least two years after the award
- Valid international passport
- University degree certificate and transcripts
- Two reference letters

Submit the Chevening application with four essays (leadership, networking, study plan, career plan)
