EPOS funds professionals from developing countries for postgraduate and doctoral study in development-related courses at German universities. Most EPOS courses are taught in English.
Monthly stipend (€934–€1,300), travel, insurance, rent subsidy

Funding covers a monthly stipend, travel allowance, health insurance, rent subsidies and, where needed, a German language course before the programme starts.

- Bachelor’s degree completed within the last six years
- At least two years of relevant professional experience
- Admission to an EPOS-listed postgraduate course
- Development-related motivation
- DAAD application form and motivation letter
- CV, degree certificates and transcripts
- Two recommendation letters
- Proof of work experience and English proficiency
